I want to share my build with everyone, so I'm gonna start with what I've acquired thus far. I'm doing a 6 speed conversion on my 06 QC with the help of my good friend SRT2SLOW. I want to take this opportunity to give thanks to those who have supported my build. SRT Brad most of all, who made my goal of making this conversion look as stock as possible happen. Thanks Brad!

A couple weekends ago we started with what E said was probably the piece of the conversion that would take the longest because he's so damn good at it that everything else is cake. So he installed my 6 speed pedal assembly to have it ready for when I pick up my tranny and a few other pieces I will need for the build. He made it look so damn easy even though I know it wasn't.

This is going to be a great thread. I am interested in how it goes! We are you sourcing the parts from?

Thank you. I am getting some parts from X2, but mostly from the great bunch that we have on this forum. To be quite honest, guys like Scott, Andy, Brad, E, and many others that have replied to my post in the past have been my true heroes. God knows this build wouldn't have ever been a possibility without their help. Whether it's with advice or selling me their parts.

Your welcome. Glad to help.

Thank you so much for everything E. I'd probably still be trying to figure things out and going all wrong about it if it wasn't for you. You're awesome man. I hope your training is going well. See you when you get back.

I really don't have the funds to take on my project yet, so I find a little comfort in working with the little things I do have. Like a completely new and unused stock Hurst shifter which is the one I chose to go with originally, but then I was convinced when I drove Big E's truck that the B&M is the way to go. Luckily I bought one in excellent condition from Chaynick as he moved on to greener pastures by purchasing a new performance shifter from Tony.

Looks awesome! I will be looking to buy a QC Jan/Feb of 2016 and then with some help from Scott I will be doing the conversion to a 6 speed. I love the manual but also prefer more room, hence why I am glad for this conversion.

All I need now is to find a very nice QC in Ontario, Canada.

I love having mine 6-speed.

You really will love the truck more than before. Lower that thing tho man! I can't imagine mine with that much wheel gap anymore! lol

I likely will later on in time. For now, I just want to get my truck done. :D

So I finally got to lowering my truck yesterday with the assistance of the one and only SRT2SLOW. I didn't do anything crazy as I want to keep stock suspension feel, so I went with some 2" lowering shackles in the rear and RC springs in the front which lowered it by 1". I'll post up some pictures soon. In the meantime here is this one of E in action.

I want to lower my QC but not sure if I want 2/4 lowing. shipping prices kill me to do anything so I need to be sure to research it.
watching the 6 speed conversion closely but again will cost me close to 10k aussie dollars to do
