Yep, blood thinners and limited activity. The ankle was the direct cause.
So was there a blood clot that they missed?

You get video? All PR's should be caught on video. lol.
I spent 5 days in the hospital in December. Doctors said I should be dead. No heavy lifting for at least a year.
Thanks, Scott.Damn Chris, didn't know about this either. Obviously we all have lives and each detail isn't internet news but damn bro. Hope all is better and the problem is solved.
Doing a push pull meet this weekend. Kinda disapointed theres no squats, but this is my first meet and it'll give me a good idea of my numbers and what to expect when i compete this fall at a full meet.
going for 585 on deads and 385 on bench for my final attempt at 220 lbs
What are you openers? Get video.
I was told to do something that I can hit easily for 4-5 in the gym just to get on the board so I am opening with 495 and 315.
I just uploaded it today but this was my first time pulling sumo a little over a month ago. changed a few things since then and it feels much better and 545 was pretty damn easy the other day

Why did you switch to sumo?
I started having back problems every time I pulled conventional and I haven't had any pain since I switched. And my coach told me with my build, I would get a lot more leverage.
Makes sense. I've been a sumo puller since day 1.
What federation is putting on the event?
Fixed it for you.Powerlifting is a lot more heterosexual than bodybuilding lol
