So i noticed there is a plastic piece on the inside of the hood but is only on one side (see image), my question is should there be one on another side? If so, does anyone what part # it is? Thanks.
interesting, anyone the part # or where i might get one? I've search all over but no luck locating it. Thanks.
I have one I took off of mine when I changed out the grill inserts, let me know if you'd like to purchase
is the 05 the same as 06, because looking at the one you have for the driver side it seems like it looks different that what i have on mine.
let me double check my hood and make sure it fits, is in the shop now so i will get back to you monday when i get it back. Thanks.
I have an 05 with both the right and left side. Should I be removing both of them? Or are there drawbacks to removing both of them?
The panels are there for aerodynamics and primarily cooling. The passenger side directs air into the air box for the engine.
As Ronnie mentioned, the drivers side is there to prevent lift at high speed and direct air to the radiator. The passenger side directs air to the filter intake. The 04 and 05 have different grill shapes than the 06. I’m not sure if those pieces interchange.
so i guess that might explain why my passenger side is missing, the person before installed a mopar intake with the cone air filter. Perhaps that part was removed to force more air into the intake? Just a thought. Anyone know what part # they are? Would like to see if the 05 and 06 are the same or not
This is the best I can do. I just took mine off to clean and maybe paint them since they are discolored very badly. These are from a 2005 QC. IMG_6901 by SRT10FOUR posted Feb 24, 2021 at 11:40 AM IMG_6900 by SRT10FOUR posted Feb 24, 2021 at 11:39 AM
