TRUCKS THAT HAVE SOLD ...

And a major chuckle to go along with it.. :)
you know after thinking about it - ALL wings matter!!!! :D:cool::eek:

And I'm dying over the prices they are bringing at these auctions. Seventh Heaven baby :):):)

Here's another 2004 currently at $10k with 7 days to go - lets see what happens!

There's something about the seat rails and mounts on the drivers seat that looks wrong to me. The passenger side is bright and shiny and the drivers side looks rusty or something.

Also the engine has some pitted looking areas below the valve covers that looks odd for a 4,000 mile truck as with some parts of her undercarriage. It could just be me, I'm sure no pro in the under hood/undercarriage area other than knowing the specs so to say - but my eye does notice out of place things. Does anyone else see this or does any one else even care? Just curious.

I know the Queen doesn't have that pitty look and her undercarriage is super clean.

And I still think the black wing is kinda cool looking ;)

I'm starting this thread of trucks that have sold so we can all keep track of what they are worth.

If you come across any sales, post them up. If possible put down, where they were sold, VIN # mileage and price - or whatever you can find out about them. They are worth more than you think!!

Here's two to start:

2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 with 4,000 miles sold for $53,500.00 on April 30, 2021 at BAT (Bringatrailer.com) LOT # 47,177

2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 with 1,300 miles sold for $53,250.00 on April 14, 2021 at BAT (Bringatrailer.com) LOT # 46,279

Note these are low mileage most likely stock vehicles - LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!! :D

Amazing the value they keep. Awesome

If a vehicle has lived underwater for a while (as in a stolen recovery scenario), you will absolutely notice odd things like rust and/or water stains part way up the door skins, rust in the front only or one side only... All kinds of weirdness IF you are paying attention.

Gotta keep a keen eye on things for sure. It looks "good" but there's something about that drivers side seat rail that bugs me

Hey Shag! Did it scare you when you saw me trampling all over the board here after so long? Hahahaha! I promise Jeffey is keeping me in line

It is great seeing how the values are coming back up to where they should be. Wait til gas is 10.00 a gallon :eek::eek:

Maybe they will make an aftermarket battery for it so we can roll with the hybrids

I don't see anything odd here in the engine compartment or underneath. The pitted part is the exhaust manifolds, they are bare metal and tend to rust from just humidity..depending on if the truck has been stored in a humid area, or near ocean, this could multiply the effect. Didn't see any thing under it of concern for a 4k mile, 16 year old truck. Did not see what you are talking about on the seat rails though.

Well that makes sense, thank you!

As for the seat rail and seat mount its in the pic of the drivers seat leaned forward and you can see the storage box behind the set - well to me the mount and the rail look a tad rusty compared to shots of the passenger side. Maybe its just lighting or I don't know what I'm looking at.

I live in a very dry area - think Sahara Desert - so rusting and pitting aren't something I'm used to seeing :D

Ending in 45 minutes!

Great to see the prices climbing.
They are more unique than most, with a gigantic V-10 engine from the factory and underpinnings to make the whole package work pretty well.
I'm quite surprised they've taken this long to be appreciated in the used market.
I bought mine to enjoy it and drive it a few thousand miles per year.
It's been a fun science experiment so far.

Yeah I see that rail now, no telling, would require a little deeper inspection before paying for though.

So there are I think I counted 6 SRT10's at Mecum Indy this week. A couple with less than 1k miles!
Awesome I am amazed how many super low mileage ones are out there to be had :)

Looks like the black winged red one went for $49,500 - awesome

I hope they keep going up in value - they are such beautiful trucks!

If I may chime in. I sold my 2005 RC with just over 40K miles for $30,000. Many on here thought I was asking too much. It shows that a well maintained, super clean and properly fitted RC can bring decent money even with some miles on it.

I thought it was too cheap.
The prices are going up in NZ too. A local car dealer told me mine is worth $65-70k. I laughed at him. However the last 6 months the last 2 trucks on Trademe have gone and there has not been anything since. The last one was a stock yf at $68k. They are just as hard to find in Australia too a supercharged one for sale at $85k was the only one available in 2 countries. Things have really changed. Just 18 months ago I had a choice of 3 or 4 and there had been a constant flow of them for sale until this year.
