No EV sleighs!! Not allowed up north!

I was looking into brake fluid and read that the Dot 5 should not be used in the vehicles with anti lock systems and should not be changed in any Dot3 or 4 system due to incompatibility and causing seal and rubber parts deteriorated.. it has claims that it does not attract moisture which is why I was looking at it so as not to cause the calipers to lock up like they do on these trucks due to moisture and corrosion in the system ..

Any input on this ? Has anyone used it without any problems ? I seem to remember that a vendor was selling it on here and their website years ago !

for corvettes and motorcycles :D

but I do know you cannot mix them and can't confuse it with DOT 5.5 either :)

I didn’t even know there was a 5.5 .. I read the 5 you would have to flush every last residual of dot 3 , 4 or you’re going to destroy seals and the system .. so that’s out of the question now .

Hey Ronnie ,
Are the gen 4 heads manifold and valve covers a direct bolt on replacement on the Trucks , gen 3 engines ? Is there a performance gains also and compared to the Striker heads ?

PS: does the intake manifold have easier access to the bolts for removal ? Can the gen 4 be used with the factory gen 3 head as a simple bolt on ?
