This guy definitely loves to detail !

Ok … sprayed that wheel from a full strength spray bottle . It’s not a spray and rinse , maybe better with a pressure washer . I had a bucket of water and a rag to wipe the wheel off . The grunge of 3 or 4 years wiped off like wiping off your kitchen counter , not a bit of elbow grease needed ..
here are the before and after pics : I left some grunge on one of the spokes on purpose for a comparison. The caliper is definitely cleaner and less faded looking … I did a small amount I could on the inside of the wheel you can see in the pic … obviously I am going to have to remove the wheels to clean inside the rim ! See all that rust came right off Wifey those aluminum wheels Wifey hahaha !:D
Yes that rust Rinsed right off those aluminum wheels :p

Just did one of my beater dakota wheel ,, different kid of finish on the wheel .. it was my work truck for years and now the daily or should I say monthly driver …… before , after and a pic of the inner rim , one not clean and the other cleaned … can only use the 1 or 2 finger method .. but took about a minute … then dried wiped it to finish .. the inside f the rims have never been clean since new 2002
Looks good!

Looks like it worked great!! I think I'll get a bottle of that for spring cleaning!

curious... i thought weights went on the back of the wheel?
I’m satisfied with it on the wheels so far .. more tests need to be done , especially on oil and grease .. need to get the pressure washer running for that test .. Procrastination has become my middle name for the last few years ..

You're actually getting on it pretty early in the season!
What about the wheel weights? They are on the outside?

It would be Hahaha! :p Silly! Aluminum doesn't rust!
No really hahahaha ! :D But I do seem to remember a post on here that asked me if that was rust on my aluminum wheels :D but I won’t mention names hahahaha

On the Dakota … that where the tire place put them .. that’s where they use to be put on all factory non mag wheels in the past . On the srt their on the inside of the rim … as long as the balance the wells and tires properly I’m good with it either way on the dakota … prefer they weren’t seen on the 10 though . Maybe has something to do with the youngins not considering detail .

As long as they are in balance it works!

Well you don't think anyone who posted something like that would just outright admit it do you???:D:p

No problems with the balance ,, but I was told the tie rod ends were bad about 6 years ago hahahaha ! Maybe I’ll check them

IMG_0377.jpeg IMG_0757.jpeg I had the oily rag I used for my oil change ,,, decided to spray a little of it with the full strength super clean and let it drip on a piece of paper .. then I put the oily rag in a bucket and mixed about a 50/50 water and super clean .. the rag went from total black and greasy to a useable rag for the next oil change .. the solution in the bucket was a super dark brown to black .. it does very well on oil and cleaned my oily grungy pressure washer and looks as good as new. This should do wonders on the under carriage and motor of the Dakota … I need a o- ring for the pressure washer gun attachment since it has sat for around 25 years and it dry rotted .. then the gas and getting it running for the next test on the Dakota…

The rag was all black …. So my guess is it will actually work cleaning upholstery with the proper dilution .. I would test a spot or something before using it on the 10 though ,, better safe than sorry .

Nice! I'm getting some it looks like it works great!

Damn , have to replace a o ring and find out why the carb float bowl isn’t filling on the carb of my pressure washer .. little diddly stupids that I really didn’t want to do .. Oh well Ace hard ware has rings and I have a wrench hahaha !

it will run but to keep it running I have to continually squirt gas in the throat of the carb .. I’m guessing the needle and seat are stuck and hope not needing replacement .. the pressure washer is as hills .. I’ll make it work even if I have to wire my old High performance Holley fuel pump and regulator to it hahaha !

Yes it did and it super cleaned up and looks as good as new .. now I’m in procrastination mode because I know when I pull the float bowl the gasket will most likely get torn up hahaha ! Figured I would just let it sit full of gas and maybe just maybe loosen things up ..
