Power Steering Line.....

I'm going to assume there are a whole lotta tariffs on these things coming up across the northern line right now.
Just get your local hose doctor, or what have you to make up some new ones.
That is what we do in NZ. Like you we can't afford $1000NZ worth of hoses to be shipped here when they can make then 10km down the road for a fraction of that cost. Mine had been done before I got it and I replaced the engine oil cooler lines as the crimps were sweating.

Yep ,, thats why you buy things manufacturered in the country you live in .. Tariffs affects are between country to country. Gouging is the thing to watchout for as the Tariffs havent actually happend on any large scale , theyve been get postponed .. like how long did the China 145% tariff go into effect before it was postponed for 90 days . Same with the EU and all the other counties that have made deals before tariffs even took effect ..
The redric in the news is nothing but a attepkt to panic the people.
There was a small company and article on CNBC , a interview with the owner a few weeks ago in the US in a article that she would be raising the prices $5 per item ... she sold of all thing Vibraters hahaha that were manufactured in of all places a communist country called China . True story ...

We will see ,, my bet is f they go into effect they wont last long ,, Just like China when the 145% hit ..

Tariffs are just a persuasion stick to get countries to keep their end of the deal they made decades ago and never been held accountable. As they step up and honor their committment the tariffs will disappear.
Nato - military spend, Mexico- border control, Canada-border control. There will be lots the media won't talk about because all they want is to bag Trump. This is stuff I have seen snippets of being this far away. Our news is orchestrated here. We never see anything about farmers protests in Europe/UK. All we hear about is the poor people in Gaza or how Trump is destroying the world with tariffs and will start WW3. How all our Ag and wine makers are all going to go broke because of his tariffs. If you have a think about how long it takes for govt to do anything, I find it hard to see how they could set up the infrastructure to implement tariffs. Start with a new Fed Dept, Central office, building/lease, staff, training, offices in every port of entry, build/lease, Staff, training, computer systems, freight holding warehouses while freight is processed etc. There is so much involved, just the planning of the systems to make it work. The wheels of govt turn slowly. I think it is a bluff. Everything I bring into NZ for my truck has Duty, GST, Customs fees if it is more than $600. That is why nothing is cheap here.

That's a beaut!!! Have fun and if we're lucky you may snap a pic or two of the conductors cabin!

Did you get it fixed ?
Update: I got a call from Tony this past Friday, he received a batch of hoses from his supplier. Gave me a call while I was at Carmax, buying a 2023 Dodge Hornet GT+. Paid for the hoses, and he put them in the mail. Should be at the post office by now, will check Friday on my day off. Hit two home runs Friday, new car, new hoses. Oh, and the Hornet is a little speed demon, 4 cylinder turbo, 268 hp.
:p
