Interest in a smaller/more affordable Procharger setup?

now the question is how cheep can ya make it?
you really dont need a cooler for the low boost kit.
just a small blower, piping, and brackets.

Umm yes you do if you want to keep it together and prevent detonation as much as possible. No offense, but if you want to go cheap and half ass this is the wrong setup for you.

Awesome work as usual Justin.

Thanks!

Some luck today, made a little less boost than I would like (was a total guess on the pulley combo), so Im ordering another pulley monday for another 1-2 psi. Pretty soft tune, definitely not done but we ran out of time, plus I let off early (stock tach is not even close LOL). Not bad, 400whp and wtq over stock on 14.7psi.

Awesome numbers so far Justin. I guess my build still has potential considering that I'm hoping for at least 15psi all the way through the RPM range.

By the way, the mock up CAI didn't work. I'm sending you the 4" inch setup I had on there. Please see if you can replicate it in 4 1/2". I'll give you a call tomorrow to discuss the details.

Sounds good

WOW!! Real nice numbers Justin:rock::burnout:

Thanks!

Definitely, contact me for details
Thanks
Justin

will do via email or would you like me to call i have an 05qc i hear the transmissions are not that good what are your thoughts?

it has a volant cai i hear that alone is good for 60hp so i am already pushing some serious power

The trans will definitely need some work to consistently handle 200+ hp over stock.

Volants probably not quite 60hp lol

Damn good numbers Justin. I just wish you would have developed this kit a few years earlier as I would have gone with your kit rather than with the Paxton kit. Keep up the good work!

You will be recieving a call from me shortly to set me up with a fuel system.

i forgot to mention that it has a flashed pcm and we all know that with that and the cai i have it is makin more power then most trucks around, but will give you a shout i am off tomorrow ... work nights i am a guard at the local jail....or loco jail as we call it

Final #s, all pump gas through cats with nice safe tune:

larger pulley: 930whp/917wtq on 13.3psi max

smaller pulley: 950whp/966wtq on 16.1psi max

I'll post the dyno sheets tomorrow, the boost would level off about 5000rpm which is why the peak hp #s are similar despite the "max" boost differences.

Engine combo:
505ci, 8.6:1 compression, ported stock heads, mild cam (not sure of specs), 1.7 rockers, ported intake, roe tb, 1 5/8 to 1 3/4 stepped headers, 3" dual exhaust with cats.

I think we could definitely achieve 1000whp on pump gas with bigger headers, no cats, etc. but it's so out of control it would just be for bragging rights. A quick full throttle jump in 4th gear and your sideways at 100mph :)

Thanks to John for turning me loose on his truck and having faith in me!
