Paxton, Injectors & Pump - Displayed fuel consumption....an observation

Don't think the gauge is malfunctioning - it's just a gas hog! Still, there's worse things to complain about!

Paxton, Injectors & Pump - Displayed fuel consumption....an observation

Did a pretty long trip in the SRT-10 this weekend, first long trip (1900 miles) after fitting the Paxton......I was pulling a trailer (empty) and didn't have any issues. However, the indicated fuel consumption was (by the end of the trip) 14.7mpg! 1.30am in the boonies of nowhere - it...

    Billy Boat Headers

So I found the whole exhaust to be a little troublesome to line up - the QC extensions have to be rotated just right otherwise the muffler isn't aligned & the system doesn't sit forward enough on the mounts (same with the over axle pipes). I left everything loose & antiseized the...

    Billy Boat Headers

I just got mine fitted this weekend. A guy at work tig welded the extra bung in the center of the collector on the same plane as the original (higher up the manifolds) - if that makes sense......I snapped a pic if you need it. I used the stud method to line everything up, a couple were...

    Billy Boat Headers

I'm finally going to try to get mine fitted this weekend - I'm in the same boat with the extra o2 bung needed, if I'm done before you I'll take a pic of where I put it.

    B&B Header fitting

Thanks all, ordered the arp kits & some lock washers.....guess I'll have to get creative on the mounting for the Paxton charge cooler (I'll figure something out) I'll make sure I've got some studs (or bolts with the heads cut off) prior to the install.....might turn some bolts down to a taper to...

    B&B Header fitting

Thanks! I'll look into getting a set. Really I should've done them before I put the Paxton on.......but I bought the headers after the install :dontknow: Unpacked the B&B exhaust yesterday - pretty nice piece of kit, well made....see how it all fits! Thanks again! Neil

    B&B Header fitting

Hi, I picked up a set of long tubes (ended up buying the rest of the exhaust new from B&B).....the headers were new too, the PO never fitted them. I just wondered - do I need to get different bolts to mount the headers? It occurred to me that the stock manifolds uses studs with spacers &...

    Tonneau Cover

Think I've got them in PDF form on a laptop at work if you still need them. Pretty straightforward - rivnuts for the rear mounting/latch brackets & there should be brackets with nuts on the fronts (these sometimes get lost on used ones) Let me know if you want me to try & find my copy. Thanks...

    Strange behavior at full boost

Charles, Looks like you did the Paxton split second box delete? If so, did it have the same behavior with the stock set up eg split second box, twin pumps etc? Seems a little odd that it's over fueling in higher gears? I'd have thought the behavior should be the same thoughout as I'd...

    Roe single pump install

Kind've figured it out - the plastic retainer was too small to fit the pump through, and too large to hold it in place. So I fabricated one that I riveted into the basket. I also ended up soldering the connections rather than using the bullet connectors.

    Roe single pump install

Does anyone have any pics of the roe single in tank walbro pump install? I'm assuming that the black plastic retainer stays in the basket, but what about the diverter in the bottom (leave it in I assume). I didn't get any instructions with it - so just checking! Thanks Neil

new SCT problem that you may all need to know

Oh, and SCT customer service weren't that helpful on the couple of occasions I called them. Don't think I ever had a response to my email.

new SCT problem that you may all need to know

Completely agree - I ended up uninstalling, reinstalling & then manually installing the drivers. There was one thread on the Internet, maybe linked to an SCT dealer that helped out....kinda clunky & took me a couple of hours to figure out.
