Kind've figured it out - the plastic retainer was too small to fit the pump through, and too large to hold it in place. So I fabricated one that I riveted into the basket. I also ended up soldering the connections rather than using the bullet connectors.

Does anyone have any pics of the roe single in tank walbro pump install? I'm assuming that the black plastic retainer stays in the basket, but what about the diverter in the bottom (leave it in I assume). I didn't get any instructions with it - so just checking! Thanks Neil

Completely agree - I ended up uninstalling, reinstalling & then manually installing the drivers. There was one thread on the Internet, maybe linked to an SCT dealer that helped out....kinda clunky & took me a couple of hours to figure out.

Think I'd be talking to the bank/credit card company/PayPal......seems like you've been reasonable to me. I've had one experience where I bought something & the guy was taken into hospital- worked out in the end, but he also wasn't logging in on a regular basis.....
