I think there are too many of the black with red stripes out there, I'd go with something with more color to offset the black wheels. I like Venom Red with the black wheels, saw it on a vert and it looked really good. I am trying really hard not to buy a SSG vert and put me in the poor house...

I've been thinking about this one for weeks now..... :) Just can't pull the trigger since I have never driven a Gen III anything, but I want a convertible. I also don't want to get rid of the GTS, so I have left this car alone, even though the 03 keeps dropping in price.... :D

If you haven't looked thru the VCA of America classifieds, you might have some luck there. Most of the people there are serious about Vipers and if they post a classified ad they are serious about selling. Sorry to hear about your problems - eBay might be another solution if you or someone...

I agree, you will fit height wise no problem, but every other dimension will be uncomfortable in a Gen I or II Viper. So, who is gonna buy a Viper first???? :D

I'm 6'2" 190 lbs and have the seat all the way back in my 99 GTS.

I guess if a guy like you just taps the brakes in a non-ABS car the brakes lock up??? LOL! (I'm assuming you are looking at 2001 and newer for the ABS brakes)

There are some on the VCA at invoice or a little below, but they are not the desirable colors or options (there is a vert on there for 80k, sticker is about 90k)

I was thinking about putting a Roe on my 99 Viper this winter (as my winter project - I want to do it myself). I'm a little nervous, though, the car already destroys the tires in 1st and 2nd gear..... ;)
