Lonestar is qute a drive from Houston, and I-10 is always jammed no matter what time of day or night. Depending where your son will live there are a couple more tracks. HRP 1/4 mile is in Baytown track is always prepped will have some good runs, and HMP even though it's an 1/8 mile it is prep...
It was about 4:30 yesterday afternoon when I realized the nitrous bottle was empty, so I called the nearest speed shop to find out what time they close. I usually go somewhere else but since it was late I figured I give them a try. They said they closed at 6:00 and I asked if they would have...
I ran a 50 shot first and the difference is not all that much. I guess a 100 shot is the way to go and for added protection run the juice with a window switch.
I recently started running a 150 shot without any problems, the stock pcm and colder plugs are the only thing that I changed. I was talking to Rice Eater offline and he helped me through some of my question and problems. I've yet to take it to the track but I can tell you there is a hell of a...
The pcm should be stock if you want to run n2o, I removed my flashed pcm and reinstalled the original. I also installed colder plugs that I ordered from Boomer. Some guys have taken a 250 shot with 102 octane and stock everything. I started running a 150 shot after talking to some of the guys...
Without the proper fan setting on the pcm the Tstat is useless. I had the pcm flashed and istalled the 172 tstat the temp never got passed 185, and this is on a hot humid day 100 deg here in Houston. I have since removed the pcm for the N2o but kept the 172 tsat the temp now reaches about 200...
Rice I added an MSD window switch to my setup for the same reason. Although I haven't reved to 4k on the take off the truck does bog down somewhat. I didn't want the nos to kick in before 3k so I went ahead and purchased it. The MSD was $100 and It has the settings for a V10 (od2) and an on rpm...
Not sure if you guys seen this or not, this truck is featured in the trucking magazine along wit 2 other Srts.

I left the truck running for about 30 minutes and it never threw a code or redlined on the temp guage, but it did seem to heat up rather quickly. :dontknow:
Guys I was installing my NOS kit last night so I removed the DC flashed pcm and reinstalled my factory pcm. After putting up all the tools ( will finish today) I connected the battery back up and turned the truck without any problems. I did notice the temp. go to 200 almost immdiately. Keep in...
