Thanks for the info guys. Torrie helped me out too tonight by stating that I needed to switch the truck back to stock for it to not be locked. Unfortunately, I can't now. Sounds like its better to buy a new one.

Dan, can I set the SCT tune back to stock from my computer as the truck is sold already?

Yes, Torrie from Unleashed tuning sent me some tunes that I uploaded on the SCT. Im the original owner if that makes a difference in unlocking it. Torrie could probably unlock it for you if interested.

I was on the dyno not too long ago for the first time with my RC and pulled 426hp. Took cats off and pulled 411hp and 418ftlbs trq. Not good. Uploaded SCT tune from Torrie and got 431hp and 493ft lbs trq. Much better. SCT from Torrie is a great start IMO

Also, seems we have a divided crowd on this issue. Some say its overkill some say its a must. Seems some have leaks without heavy use and others not. At over $400 for the upgrade, not incl. labor, how many of you who did the upgrade did it because of leaks or heavy use vs. for "better feel"...
