just installed I just installed the 91 tune, bad part is here in Hawaii I have not found a higher octane gas. Started a thread obout octane boost but seems the response is it wont do crap. So until I find a higher octane gas Im stuck with the 91. Ill give some details later about truck...

survey says I was sent a 91/92/94 octane tune in the SCT tuner. So what Im getting from this thread is if you cant match the octane from the straight gas don't use the higher tune? That sucks!

I have a question I probably regret asking since lets face it you guys arent nice! :drool: With a tuner is it safe to use octane boost for the higher octane tunes? Im in Hawaii and not much choice of fuel octanes. Thanks

pulled the trigger Well I just ordered the tuner from Torrie, have to say very fast turn around so far. I had shipping info within a hour of ordering and emailing Torrie of my vehicle specifics. Cant wait to get rid of the skip shift!:rock:

wait what wait I thought it would feel alot better in terms of auto transmission and skip shift. If Im not going to feel the difference except on the track its not any good to me.

I have a 05 QC, has anyone cut the exhaust off just before the muffler and piped it out in front of the rear wheels with out a muffler? I did this to a 01 ford lightning I had and it sounded like a freeking Nascar, it was great. :rock:

Okay I notice that my oil temp isnt moving on the pillar. So have most people found it to be the sending unit of the guage its self that is the problem?

one last question do you need to sand the chrome before you do plasti dip or just use acetone to clean??

Im about to do the same thing but Im worried about paint adhering to the chrome even with proper prep. I tried buying black and trading them out but none of the ones that are resonably priced either ship to Hawaii or are in stock.

Was under the hood today and I noticed that the throttle cable was pretty loose but I could not find a adjustment for it. Any hints?

No I ordered it thru Amazon, some people complained that they got the wrong one for a Chevy Colorado but mine was just right!
