Part needed to fix code P0753 shift solenoid in QC auto?

Got truck back today from the second transmission shop....they fixed it for $140 labor cost only! It was a bad relay, #59 in the fuse box for the transmission! They swapped the wiper relay and the transmission relay, he said it ran and shifted fine then, the wipers would only work on the low...

Part needed to fix code P0753 shift solenoid in QC auto?

So installed all new governor/pressure switch, transducer, and shift solenoid..the one RockAuto sent was the incorrect one, was able to find one at O'Rileys, but still same P0753. Dropped it off at a local transmission shop, they say its an electronics issue, like the PCM after they said they...

Part needed to fix code P0753 shift solenoid in QC auto?

Thanks for the info! For some reason the thread notification did not send me an email on the reply. I will check the connector tomorrow. It was sealed good as I did unplug it Saturday and plugged it back in, fairly clean connection, truck hasn't seen rain in months, been dry as hell here...

Part needed to fix code P0753 shift solenoid in QC auto?

Only have 3rd gear which I think is a result of being in limp mode, have a single code P0753 for a shift solenoid. What part number is needed to replace this solenoid being reported? Any other ideas of what it may be? Thanks

Any detailed threads about removing dash ?

Got the info I needed from the FB group! There are 4 bolts holding the steering column in, then 2 right next to the front steering bolts that hold the dash on to the support structure mounted to the firewall. Just undo the 4 for the steering column, and the 2 for the dash...support structure...

Any detailed threads about removing dash ?

Are there any detailed threads about removing the dash in a 2005? Need to replace AC evaporator, need help for around the steering column area on what to unbolt. Found a youtube vid for a 2006, regular Ram, but the SRT seems to be very different under the steering column.

Just a cool combination...Viper towing Viper!

Picked up an '05 Viper a while back! The sales guy at the dealership was amazed they made a truck with the Viper motor in it when I came to pick up the car. The dealership was a Lambo/Rolls/Ferrari dealership, someone traded in the Viper for a new Ferrari.

What is the trick to getting the rear rotors off?

Well the first sentence in my OP is "E-Brake is off"...so that ain't it. No clips left on the studs. Rotor would turn freely with both wheels off the ground, so I don't think the EB was holding it on at all. Most likely was rusted to the axle like 96indy mentioned. I let it soak in some...

What is the trick to getting the rear rotors off?

Yes I had all of that removed already, nothing left on the hub/rotor. It would not budge even with some decent swings with the BFH... Also soaked in WD-40 for a bit, still no budge... Ordered a rotor puller good for 7 tons...see if that and the BFH gets it done in a few weeks....had to put...

What is the trick to getting the rear rotors off?

Other side is the same way, so I am just going to put the $400 rotors on the shelf for now as I need my truck today, and put it back together with the new pads. Will pay a buddy to do it some other time I guess....very disappointing, I do not see anything holding them on at this point.

What is the trick to getting the rear rotors off?

The E-Brake is off, I have tried WD-40 all over, I have heated them up with a torch, I just can't seem to get them to budge. I have banged all over them with a 5lb hammer. At this point I am putting the new pads on and calling it a day with it, moving on to the other side.

What would cause no power to radio besides fuse?

I found the issue, some being operator error... My voltmeter probes were actually not small enough to fit far enough down inside the harness plug to make contact with the pins when trying to check for voltage. I took some solid core wire and made the ends very pointy and crammed down in the...

What would cause no power to radio besides fuse?

I pulled the radio forward after removing the dash / console bezel, didn't unplug anything, and now no power to the radio?? I was simply looking for a ignition switched 12v wire to splice into for a dash cam, but never got that far as none of the wires have power now. I have checked for power at...

    Battery Recommendations Wanted

I have used Odyssey AGM's in my 2 boats, and several cars for over a decade. Used to be the maker of DieHard AGMs. Still have the original one in use in my boat for over 10 yrs now! Truck battery is about 6yrs old.

Oil Pan Swap, Car Vs Truck

the pans are different from a 05 Viper and 05 QC truck I know as I have both. I assume the other yr 3rd Gens are the same. Not sure what may be different internally for the oil pickup though, so be careful there if you switch to a car pan.

    TRUCKS THAT HAVE SOLD ...

So there are I think I counted 6 SRT10's at Mecum Indy this week. A couple with less than 1k miles!

Yeah I see that rail now, no telling, would require a little deeper inspection before paying for though.

    TRUCKS THAT HAVE SOLD ...

I don't see anything odd here in the engine compartment or underneath. The pitted part is the exhaust manifolds, they are bare metal and tend to rust from just humidity..depending on if the truck has been stored in a humid area, or near ocean, this could multiply the effect. Didn't see any...
