the best way to check the crank sensor is to see if you are reading RPM on your scanner!!!!!!! if you are reading rpm your sensor is fine... dont just throw parts
and the code is prob still in your truck.. the light was just shut off by the stock computer because you had gone 3 consecutive trips with out another fault for that number... the code is still in your truck in the history and can be cleared with a scanner
FYI the worst thing you can do is disconect the battery to clear a code.. you loose all adaptives and parameters and makes the vehicle go into a relearn.... the reason the code came is prob because you turned the ignition on when you had the iat unplugged during install...
