0 breakdowns! That's the best part. Nothing worse than spending all that money, only to have to worry about blowing something up! Great job DC!

For sure!!!

Congrats on your first track adventure!!!

How are the qa1's for everyday driving? Better than stockers?

yes...they are better than OEs....but they are a friggin pain to adjust....well the fronts are....you need to jack the front up and use needle nose pliers.....with the pliers you can't feel the clicks so you guess...I guessed wrong when I tried to set them back to street settings last night...going over to a shop with a lift to set them correctly today...man what we do for a .10th....:D

My hands are small and I can get to the front adjusters without taking the wheel off. But still a pain as it is a two finger job.

Jack...as you know the plastic adjustment nobs have an allen bolt holding them to the shock....mine were toooo tight...I adjusted that allen just a touch and the nob clicks much easier now...

Front 6 clicks up from full soft
Rear 4-5 clicks....

I had the same problem with my Koni Adjustables. (won't tell you the car they were on... you'd laugh. ;) )

Glad you got it figured out tho!

HEy mike glad to hear that you pulled a goodtime in your truck! IF you pulled a low 11 at fonatana that should easily be a mid 10 up at famoso! You should hit up an 1/8 mile before famoso so you can find the sugar spot for launching. Irwindale is really nice and sticky, i pulled an 1.8 on just my first run even after i messed up and bogged...Just a thought

Drive shaft loop?

yeah....maybe....dunno....the rule book has no mention of 2 piece shafts...

On a practical note...the owner of unitrax looked at my truck and said the stock set up is crazy strong and the center bearing between the 2 shafts acts as a loop...:dontknow: ...

When the truck gets the new rear end will have DC put limit straps around the back shaft just to be safe....
