I can go! maybe!?! Our little boy is due to be born April 1st. Try to see how everything goes with the rest of her pregnancy and see if I can talk her parents into filling in for me a day or two. I can also send $ but if there are problems the $ would go to a great use. Just want a copy of someons video of the event.

Yeah, David said they could prolly charge $ 5 per person to get in since we are renting the track already. Once the flyer is made, if it says the admission is half price, should reel some folks in.

I'm getting ready post up on other boards and I don't have the paypal address for the money. I can use mine if neccesary if someone wants me to collect for non VTCOA people (i.e. Hemi truck club, Rumblebee.org, PT.net).

What if I have someone who wants to make a deposit now? The more we can get to commit with money now will make things easier in the long run.

thats fine ill go ahead and post it now. we just dont have an accurate figure until we know how many people are gonna show. didnt want to have to keep track of refunds if they overpaid.

I heard a rumor that a bunch of the south florida guys were talking about pulling out of this event due to the short track, and the fact that L's are being invited. Rumor? Or truth? This will seriously impact the cost of entry.

What can we do to fix it!? I would love to see 20+ trucks here! I say, if it comes down to that, screw the track, we can just make it a beach GTG. Hell, we will have several water toys to entertain!!

Anybody else got any ideas about this?
 
i have caught wind of this too but i cant see the reasoning for it. what difference does it make. this is supposed to be so everyone can get together and meet the faces behind the names. it not like we're in the nhra circuit. im going regardless. i enjoy running my truck but its not a race truck, meeting and hanging out with the fellas is what i go for. the reason stinker wanted to get this started was because at the nats, we all went down the track 1 time. no body really gave a rats ass about running, we just wanted to catch up with old friends that we dont get to see but once a year. who give a shit about the L's fepony has been on here forever and drives a ford. we sat down with him the last time ROZ went to PCB,FL and hes a standup guy.
 
This sounds interesting...Can someone point me to the Post# that contains the dates and info on this? Im so tired of reading through all these ages i started to see pink elephants!:dontknow: :elefant:

I couldn't agree more! That's why I said, if it's about the track, take it out of the picture. We do lots of GTG's that aren't anywhere near a track. It's no biggie to me, I will just take my jetski to the beach! Where's the boat ramp?.......:D:D:elefant::elefant:
