2005 QC Transmission Slipping

Thank you for the help, greatly appreciated! I will first try the cables (too hot currently) and see if that doesn't solve the issue. If not, then move onto the T56.

Giid morning Gill-

One other item to check before considering spending money. There is an external spring on the transmission that holds the kickdown lever forward. Make sure it is still hooked up.

Where on the tranny is that spring located?

It is on the driver's side of the transmission (outside). Just follow the kickdown cable and you will find it. It's the only spring outside the transmission.
