Acceleration and torque problems

You will see a white plastic block on the bracket for the throttle body and kick down cable.
With a small screwdriver, carefully release the white plastic block then slide the outer part of the kickdown cable until the throttle cable AND the kickdown cable will MOVE TOGETHER, then snap the white plastic block back into place to lock that adjustment. I mean, AS SOON AS the throttle is very slightly opened from the idle position, the kickdown needs to move with it.
This adjustment can be quite touchy. If the kickdown cable moves slightly after the throttle cable, your line pressure will be low and cause a sloppy shift at part throttle. If the kickdown cable already has tension on it at idle, it can cause delayed and harsh shifts at light throttle and will need to be relaxed slightly until there is no tension on it.
It may take a few tries, but once it is adjusted properly, all will be wonderful in the 48RE Universe and will be true cause for celebration.

Thank you, I will try it as soon as the weather is fine here and I can take the truck out.
