Alberta Dyno Day

Puking out of nos winer is ...... Joeeeeeee , good luck bro . And hope u like it , let us know how it goes .
And Ron , I think I'll stick with a camp food

I checked out Toma's new shop location this morning. There is lots of off street parking and lowered trucks/cars will be able to get in with no problems. It looks like all of the neighbor's are closed on Saturdays, so we will have the place to ourselves.:rock::rock:

Oh, and there is a Hooter's two blocks away!:burnout::burnout::burnout:

It would be better pulling it with anothere 10 .... YF QC pulling YF RC , ooo yes that would be BADDDD ... lol

Probably gonna trailer it down if its put together in time. You gonna let me use your new fancy truck? ;) Ive got the truck and trailer situation figured out already.

Yeah you can pull it down with the new one if ya like? It will give ya an idea if you might venture off in that direction some day with a diesel:dontknow:

I spent some time with one and also did a direct drive comparison bewteen the 5.3 Silverado, Dodge 5.7 (390 HP) and the F-150 lineup of the 6.2, 5.0, 3.5 (Eco) and their base V-6 at Race City. I was towing (7000+ pounds), drag-racing, going through the slalom, etc. We were really able to POUND on the trucks that were there.
Ford put it on an it was interesting to say the least.
The T-15 twin turbos are smaller than the cooling fans on my laptop..180,000 r.p.m. 10:1 plus 12 pounds of boost all on Regular fuel. 2400 p.s.i. direct injection fuel system. Cool tech.
I spent considerable time yakking with the Techs and Engineers.

When driving the V-6 Ecoboost, there is no pull in conjunction with the sound of the engine as it is winding out (like there is in say the 5.7). Instead, it is uneventful and feels much like a chipped diesel or a big electric motor. Just sort of a relentless pull from down low all the way to the shift points. Really good mileage numbers which is my main interest right now. I do know they get better than my current work truck (2010 5.4L F-150 4X4). And that one isn't too bad at all..

If you haven't seen it, have a look here: ford f150 ecoboost torture test - Google Search

LOTS of room for modding those. Toma already knows about the current tunes that are out there for them!

My Ecoboost is on a train somewhere and should be in this week..
