Yes , all the rest works ,,, except sometimes it can take 10,15 minutes for the sound to start ,, other times it starts as soon as I turn the radio on ...Does the stock amp turn on?
Do the dash speakers work?
Haven’t had time to look at it yet .... to damn hot here besides ....So were you able to change out that relay? I too am now having this issue. and if so how easy was it to access. I was going to try and find this out so I can get that fixed.. might also see if this is covered by my extended warranty.
Something in the air lately???..as my speakers suddenly have a mind of themselves...one day they work fine..but then later that day..nothin'. It's all still factory setup..fuses look ok...maybe it's my choice of music???
Might be the music ... is this what your listening to ;
Curious if that would affect just the left door speaker at first ?Amp for the door/dash speakers is behind passenger air bag. Real bitch to get out
I’m with you on that ... my next step will be checking for broken wires to the drivers door speaker , harness between the body and door ..I asked around and some others are saying it is specifically the infinite system. so might need to do more than the relay. I hope not cause I do not want to take the dash out.
Yes ,l I found that out .. took the glove compartment door off to see it ... no freaking way it can be removed from there without ripping into the dash ... I saw 1 wire plug and everything looked fine ,,, I got my hand in far enough and could feel the amp and it was warm .. ... without being sure it’s the amp ,, I’m in no way tearing the dash apart and replacing it .. just to find out that isn’t the problem ... any idea if there is a easy way to bypass it without having to tear the dash out ?Amp for the door/dash speakers is behind passenger air bag. Thanks ,,, it may end up being a project in the near future ... I’m still not sure if it is the actual problem .. bit when I have more time I’ll be giving my diagnostic skills another try ..Greeting, gents. New member, wanted to let you know that I had success with the dash amp by using a 1/4 inch wobble socket and removing the radio bezel. So basically Take the bezel off, it'll expose little angles for you to reach the backside of that amp and with the wobble socket, 30 minutes.
