It fixed itself, oddly enough! Still had the local speed shop quote me for a new pump, hoses and idler pulley. $1245 parts and labor....

Those are offered on eBay , Amazon etc .. you can probably find them at auto parts stores or something at Home Depot that you could use ..

There is one possibility of getting things shipped to the UK and that is by using a "forwarding company" so the order from supplier goes to the forwarder address then they forward it to the destination.

What a hassle, but a possibility
