Black Chrome PermaStar wheels

This is probably extremely premature, but I need to have a "plan B" in place.

I'm getting my truck back Friday from the paint shop. I have been sent a short video of the truck rolling out of the shop, and I'm just not sure that I'm going to be overly receptive to the black wheel/black truck look. I may love it in person, but right now I'm about 50/50.

So here's the deal: if the truck doesn't have the look I want, I will trade my wheels and tires for a set of stock wheels and tires and $700 (dependent on the type and shape of tires). The wheels would need to be close to perfect. Since I haven't driven the truck in 7 months, I would be willing to travel a short distance if needed to make a complete swap.

Honestly your truck looked super awesome to me with the polished OEMs when I saw it in person at PCB in 2010.. Even wih the parkinglot owie it experienced. I dunno abou the black wheels on black truck look. Some (not all) that have tried it have pulled it off nicely enough to cause instant wood in my boxers IMO. Can't wait to see pictures of her when she gets home though.

Update on PermaStar wheels

Wheels are staying on the truck fella's....they look amazing; just the right amount of chrome "bling".

As for the paint on the truck.....unfreaking believable!!! But for now, here is a pic of the wheel. Many more to come.
