The weather was warm to start with and there were lots of street cars to ruin the starting line, so no new records but I think I did alright. First run of the night was the best, and it turns out to be my best CORRECTED time ever. First run was: 1.754 60', 1/8th 7.736 @ 89.93, 1/4 mile 12.034 @ 114.84mph.....temp 91 degrees at 8pm, DA 3098'...Corrected time (11.585 @ 119.373!) Here's a breakdown of the night
Run 1. [email protected] (beat a trailered 70 Demon, his time [email protected])
Run 2. 60' 1.877, 1/4 mile [email protected] (beat an 87 Buick GN [email protected])
Run 3. 60'1.818, 1/4 mile 12.110 @ 114.43 ( beat a 64 Plymouth 383 race car...12.911 @105.99)
Run 4. 60' 1.908, (the starting line was getting worse) 1/4 mile 12.172 @ 114.75 ( lost to a Mustang race car...9.893 @ 136.21)
Run 5. 60' 1.800 ( I eased up to 3500rpm for the launch and bogged) 1/4 mile 12.087 @ 115.00. (Barely lost to a New 5.0 Mustang with a Vortech SC, I was ahead past the 1/8th mile but he passed me at about the 1000' mark, his time 11.642 @ 128.27)

I think I've about done all I can on the drag radials. I've gotten some shaved calipers from FATJACK, so those are going on. I will have to save a month to get some Bogart 16x10 rear wheels then I will get the M&H cheater slicks that are 30" tall....after that I may try a carbon fiber driveshaft. My next test and tune will probably be in Sept. I spoke to Dom and he is working on the Fastest 505 Viper and is planning on being at Famoso Nov 5&6 for the final test and tune of the season at Famoso. I would all mark your calenders for this event. I should have the tires and driveshaft by then and I would hope to be in the 11.80's if not a little better.:burnout:

Hey jerry are the bogarts you're getting going to tuck the slicks under the truck or will they stick out like the eagle wheels?

They should fit a little better than the 17x10 Weld racing wheels I have now. Bogart is having me measure the clearances and springs. They may stick out a little. Nice run Randy!

I sure would like to find some rims that would tuck the wheels in
