my truck only made three passes at the track at pinks all out in st louis. it has never been to the track since then. it is currently the fastest rc in the world which isnt much i guess. it is also the fastest ram srt10 in the world with drag radials and it also has the fastest mph in the 1/4 mile in the world 132 mph shifting into 5th...let me remind you that this was on drag radials and shifting into 5th....and only its third time down the track...the reason the truck has not been to the track more is it is winter here and my track is 200 miles away with a sweet air da of 8000 ft ....the truck would have run low 10s high nines with the current setup......but it was winter and i wanted more ..along with the turbo we are putting on stinkers rearend(so i can run a tall slick) changed the reare gears to 3 73s, and are puttin nitrous on the truck ,......but i feel that 10.95 @132 is pretty respectable

Dom,
Do you have any plans for a Cage? I know the rules here are 11.50 and faster means you need a B hoop with the reverse supports. If you break into the 9's, you will need even more, at least here at my track.

My research with NHRA last year left me with unacceptable options. Since the cage must be permanently installed, and the full strength removable sections would not be allowed for my behind the seat bar or the back braces, I would give up to much of my truck. I have a grocery getter so I can use it for family fun. There was some speculation, that NHRA may evaluate more liberal use of full strength joints in cage design, but I am not sure where that is going.

the way to get around that tiny is to run a 1/4 mile track, makeas amny pasess as you need, but kill it after the 1/8th, when you feel good and ready.............make one kick as pass;)

then go home:rock:

absolutely not it is a street truck not a race car i will make 1/8 mile passes and coast to the traps until i feel everything is dialed in and then make my pass if they kick me out i will come back next weekend mike brady did not have a cage some tracks are very lax

I hear you about being a street truck. And you are right NowWhat never got caged. I just think my local track will not be as lenient as some of you guys enjoy.

His original build was that, but we later redid the motor with lower compression, billet mains, cometics/arp's, stock ported heads/upgraded valvetrain and mild cam.

any pics of the procharger install? what kind of numbers would be possible with a procharger setup verses paxton on stock and forged internals for street setups?

Took Dom's truck for a test drive today with the new turbo, did some tests from different RPM's in 3rd and 4th gear. From 2500 rpm, full spool (9 psi) was at 3300-3400rpm (coming on very quickly from 3K up), from 3500rpm it was about 41-4200rpm. Overall great spool characteristics still and will have a nice broad power curve. 9 psi broke the tires loose in 4th, so the power gain feels promising!!

Jacks truck is pretty much finished on the blower kit, the blower is installed along with the airbox, belts, etc. Ive got a few other things to finish up for Jack other than the blower setup, and also waiting on a few parts still. Should have results from both very soon, along with pricing and options for the DIY Procharger setup.....

Justin I can't wait to see these trucks in action. Are you going to the Sacramento GTG to see your work on the track?
