Hello-
FSTJACK shipped me one of his ported throttle bodies to try on my truck. The butterflies are the standard size but there has been EXTENSIVE work in blending and shaping the body itself. A work of art in my opinion...and I was anxious to try it out even though the K&N cold air kit (my very first mod) didn't work out very well at all.
I didn't think the factory t. body seemed all that bad, just looking at it. But I guess it suffers from mass production woes like many things do and the time and cost to "do it right" may have been prohibitive...??...
Anyway, the immediate result was a BIG improvement in throttle response throughout the range. It felt like my truck shed 500+ pounds. Part throttle response on the highway is also WAY up. So, on the butt dyno, it was a passing grade.
On A REAL dyno, it picked up a solid 11 and 11 and surprisingly, even in the low 2000 r.p.m. area, it showed positive gains.
I just thought I would let you know the results...and congrats to Jack for producing a product that really works!
Ronnie
