Hey guys what are some good headers for 2004 rc?? Please let us know how much y'all spent. And pics if ya have brothas

I have the Gibson shorties,gottem' off eBay for 650.00 coated.don't make as much power as longtubes (if any) but long tubes will set you back a couple of grand.I actually wanted the bassanis,but couldn't find any.

I have Bellanger long tube header and the catless mids. Also new gaskets. Around 2k.

I had mopar long tubes and loved them but they dont make them anymore so you gotta find used ones

Mopar Long Tubes and they come with the cat-less Mids. I have access to a couple new sets but they will set you back a couple grand

billy boat longtube headers w/catless mids and full exhaust will give you the best sound imo and performance but is one of the more expensive headers for our trucks

Canviper and I just installed his American Racing Headers in his 06 Nightrunner. took us 4 1/2 hours,on our backs, in my garage ! We removed the stock manifolds and cats, and then install the headers and catless mids. The most time was spent on the 3 manifold to cats bolts!!! what a pain!!! The AR headers came with little studs for mounting and i thought that was a great idea!! Of course there was some creativity to get to some of the nuts!!! and some colorful words!

The factory bolts and sort-of-nuts are a PIA. Glad you guys got them in!:burnout::burnout:

Thanks again for all the help and yes some choice words were said taking out a few of the bolts. I'm happy with the headers it does sound a bit meaner and no drone on the highway. Power increase we will see in June.

these trucks are unique, expensive toys! If you worry about $1000 headers you will be disappointed!! lol We buy headers mostly for bling!! The manifolds flow pretty good with stock heads and intake just are really friggin' heavy!! Longtubes add abit of performance, the bassani's, due to the direct manifold replacement. "Worth" is in the eye of the beholder. just my 2 cents....
