If it has not already been made abundantly clear, these engines are somewhat delicate for a high performance engine. They are equipped with pistons and rings that are not suitable for much beyond stock performance, and have a host of other issues such as oiling problems, block flex, and an intake that leans out the first four cylinders (especially dangerous under boost). A great Viper tuner is essential, as even slight detonation over a period of time will break these engines in stock form.
It has to be built right and tuned right, or it will be a ticking time bomb.
You have a excellent point Eric about beiing tuned right:rock: ,what if this Paxton truck were bought and then retuned? pending on how long its been running with that set up,I'm thinking this is the only chance the truck has for survival? :dontknow:
