I've raced Paxtons and Roe trucks at the track and haven't had any problem with either. Rolling starts 60-150 m.p.h. (or so)...same thing.
Prof's truck made 620 wheel with a Roe before his build way back when, so I am assuming that everyone that has ever installed one thinks their truck makes the same.
As with any build, n.a. or forced induction there are factors that will change the end result.
I think the big assumption here is that street-style forced induction engines just HAVE TO be more powerful than those that don't have f.i.. That isn't always the case.
With that said, my truck has been absolutely slaughtered at the track by turbo cars that have engines 1/4 the size of mine.
I don't consider my truck to be a drag vehicle but you likely get my point here...
In other words, "It depends"....
