I have been reading that the auto challengers are faster then the 6 speeds in the standing 1/4 mile so you think if the viper trucks were autos would they be faster
mine was ,and yes about 3 times faster, and no, sorry no time slips , but easy numbers,

i cant believe that a stock QC with 6-speed is faster than an auto...
my dreamtruck is a 2006 RC with auto...
Tony , u have pics in and out of your RC auto ?
For roll races, it's hard to beat a bunch of torque through a T56. On the dragstrip, a good automatic holds a huge advantage. They aren't near as much fun though, IMO.My QC is much faster than when it was an auto. Gained mileage, shaved weight, and am much faster on street /strip. Had a done a nice built auto and stall I'm still not sure I could be where I am now and street battles I prolly would lose.
Wouldn't go back auto unless it was a full out 1/4 mile only truck, then itd be Turbo400 or Powerglide
What engine does it have in it these days, Tony?honestly not sure if I do ? I will look , if not will grab some next time I see her shes in storage right now, just don't have the time to mess with her at all
Or if you have deep pockets you can have the auto with six speeds from TCI.
6x Six-Speed GM 4L80E Automatic Transmission (850hp) - TCI® Auto
Too much gear splitting for me. Give me a regular 4speed

I know someone local that would trade you for your 6 speed
No. The stock tranny. Shifts perfect. And a free hello kitty air freshener
