Into the wild blue yonder..........

I lost count of numbers by now :dontknow:
Went up today again. Went through a few of the basics. Then came in and did some ground school review.
Next lesson... Check ride and solo
So any of you guys in West Palm Beach county, watch out. It will be me and only me in the plane sometime in a couple weeks. :D

I've been wanting to do this for as long as I can remember. Just got the kick in the butt I needed to get going.
So far I am 7 months into it. I started going every weekend, but then ended up being broke every month. I cut back to every other week. Gives me a little play money every month. :D
Still got a way to go. I'm at around 25 hours and usually everyone finishes for the private in about 60.
Then I will keep going for an instrument rating, and maybe a twin engine.

wonder what a flight school would say if you went in and said, "i don't care about the landings, just take off, and banked turns"?

I wish you would go in and try it.

So tomorrow if weather allows, I have my Stage 1 check ride and solo.
I was re-reading everything and getting my paperwork all together.
So far, 22 hours and 69 Landings

congrats wally:rock:

My check ride was pushed back to 12:30 and rescheduled with someone else. Just got here and found out who with..... The chief pilot. Well here goes nothing.

4.5 hours later.... I am ready for solo  Time and winds today didn't allow.
I feel like I got my butt kicked. :p The chief pilot is basically the boss. He was throwing everything at me. Of course winds were gusty and there was a bunch of turbulence so that didn't help any. He said he was taking that into consideration. :dontknow:
My instructor is gonna get a talking to im guessing. He wasn't impressed that he hasn't shown me anything about the autopilot and GPS.

Not a bag on the head, but some "special" glasses that basically block you from seeing outside the airplane, and only seeing the gauges. Did about 30 minutes of that.
