I'm 42 and I have a 14 year old daughter that is growing up way to quick too.....Scary ain't it.....where do the years go?

It's all part of their growing up process. If you spend time with them when they are young, and help shape them, then it's not to bad. By the looks of things, I believe you and your wife have done a wonderful job Tommy.

The problem comes from those parents that want to be their kids best friend. Then when the child is older and they need a firmer hand, it's to late.

At least that's my vision of what I see to often now days.
