Alex,
Cant add much to what has already been said here..I know a thing or 2 about the waiting, wondering etc, but as I told you, you gotta hang in there and just deal with it..The people on this forum are a great source of support and encouragement. I would not have gotten through my surgery and recovery as easily without the love this place gave me.As you have seen on this thread, it helps just to be able to share what you are going through..Hang in there..

Matt

PS:Got your voicemail..was having surgery on my eye that day...

I got your message as well - sorry I didn't call you back - was dealing with trying to figure out a new phone. I hope all went well with your eye

Your words were one of the main reasons why I decided to share with everyone here. I thank you for that!

Alex,
I am so sorry to hear that you are in such distress. I was hoping that you would be on the mend by now.
I will pray for your speedy recovery, and freedom from fear.
Life is not fair and sometimes deals us a crappy hand.
Keep the faith and hope for a miracle beacuse we are truly living in the age of miracles.

Thank very much Jack! That means so much!

I finally have been able to some appointments to figure out what is going on. Nobody seems to want to see you right away when your a new patient :(

I actually have the day off from work today to have a bunch of testing done for glaucoma :( They are going to dialate my eyes 3 times throughout the day :( :( :(

Then Monday I see an endochronologist to hopefully get to the bottom of everything. And then back to the eye doctor on Wednesday to go over glaucoma testing and also discuss my options to help my eye that is still bulging and hurting.

I starting to feel some relief now that I am finally going to be able to find out what's wrong. The unknowning is the worst!!!

You are truly a wonderful man and I am so lucky!

Back from the doctor's poking at my eyeballs :p I won't find out the results until Wednesday :( Maybe they can finally help me out with my eye!!

I do have to say - I have been sleeping a whole lot better the last few weeks. Had some major issues with sleep for awhile that were only getting worse! Some of that I think was a lot of stress I was going through added on top of my health concerns.

Monday will be the big start - more tests, but hopefully down the road to recovery. That's when I go to the endochronologist. I'll be so glad when I finally feel 100% once again!

Thank you Tony - he is truly a good man!

He sure makes dealing with all of this a lot easier!

I'm sure I'll end up being one of the doc's best patients - I've got all my films and test results, a log book of systems over the last 5 months, and a detailed letter from the Chief of Endochronology that outlines some of the things that need to be looked at. I probably more prepared to get the ball going then the doc will be :p

Hang in there Alex..Glad you are getting some answers..
