Personally I would have a hard time buying a new viper when the aftermarket is so small for them. I would look for a Gen4 coupe and take the extra $30k you'd save and mod it - especially since there's aftermarket support...
That's what I'd do if I had $100k burning a hole in my pocket...

If you want to have a beautiful 10 that isn't gutted for weight reduction and still has all the "bells and whistles", and you want it to be pretty fast (11 second range) Truck- $25-30K for a beauty + 11 second mods NA- $20-25K= $45-55K. A beautiful 06 Viper coupe est. $50K + 11 second mods= already there = $50k

11 second Truck = $45-55K
11 second coupe = $50K

If I was to do it over I think my choice would be clear.... COUPE!
