New NA Record,, Sorry Trainman

And u know this how?

That wasn't SRTBrad who posted that, I called him when I read it and it was someone else using Brads avitar. I really would like to see the entire timeslip with the date and name of the strip too.

whats your deal man? you called him out for proof and now you have it. but now you want more? if you dont care about this N/A build and his timeslip...then STFU and move on.

Just saw your post, you know damn well you can't run a time like that in a 10 on street tire, its called asking questions. If your gonna post up a fast time like that your gonna get asked for proof. Don't recall asking you for an opinion, if you don't like it don't read it.

I believe he already admitted it wasn't timeslip to a 10 , unless I read it wrong.

That was sarcasm, sorry i had to clarify for you...

You can't blame us for doubting. As mentioned above, those numbers just dont work. Especially on a 5600lb brick, on street tires. And the only proof that you show us a timeslip that's been cropped, so we cant see date, time of day or track info.:dontknow:

As much as I hate to say it, I believe he is on to something here.
Listen- back to the motor rev theory, if motor A has 700 hp and engine B has 700 HP but engine A makes over 500 from 2000 RPM up and engine B is a high revver making 500 hp at 4500 RPM you have your answer. Torque and HP that is FLAT across the board from idle up to 6000 will always outshine a "PEAKY" curve that makes no power down low but screams up top! The answer to 15 pages of doubt.

On the other hand, I still wanna see video and engine specs!
SO for now I congratulate SRTVenomous on a job well done.

" A perfectly planned out engine combo with all aspects taken into consideration will yield more power than off the shelf, sold by the numbers engine combos."

Congrats again Bro. :)

Not disputing the motor theory, but is it possible to put that power down on street tires, a lot of us that race might find that hard to believe. I make 600 hp on spray and you know that's across the rpm range and I was only able to wring out a 12.2 on my best pass with a 1.8 60 ft. If you look at all the facts as a whole, its hard to believe.

On street tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dontknow:

ok so i'm a little confused:dontknow: was this the gen 4 conversion with stage 3 porting? or ported gen 3 heads? Also SRT are you using stock displacment or is it bored and stroked? You had the work done at Rolling Thunder right?

that 1/8mile ET shouldv'e put you into the high 10's though

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see him put on slicks and spray and run a mid 10 and be the fastest 10 around if his pass is legit.

SRTVenomous, Is there a reason why this thread needs to continue like it has ... Appears to me that if you just post up the info people are asking then it will get settled. Unless you have other motives for this thread. The burden of proof is on you, as you are the one making the claim... So what's the deal. Just settle this once and for all... you surely don't ever see any other types of real records achieved anywhere that can't prove they were made lagit.

AGREE as well... I'd like to see this come to a rest
