Factory air box mounting stud

Ahhhhh, I see, it's possible that the Volant box was connected to it also now that I think of it. May have to find a regular bolt to put in place so I don't rip my arms up since I am using a stock hemi airbox for the new hood
Thanks

Curious to know why you chose a hemi hood?

It's ducted fresh air to the hemi airbox location, I just took out the extra battery tray.

I know purists won't like it but i spent the previous 30 years hanging around old school mopars so I'm kinda partial to the look. I never choose the fastest or cheapest way to go but I like the look.

Haven't decided on the exact color scheme for the hood yet.........

Not what I thought, I like it! Flat Black is calling!

thanks, i know its not for everybody

with the way the hood is shaped i'll have to play with what i want

1. whole hood flat black, grill trim flat black, honeycomb grill
2. scoop flat black, rest of hood yellow, grill trim yellow, honeycomb grill
3. ?????

I think just the scoop or the entire hood would look bad ass flat black... someone photoshop that for him.

Those traction bars look bad ass yellow!

I'm partial to the one with only the scoop painted black and the rest yellow. That truly makes it look like the old school mopars.

Ok, ok, yes, I take forever getting Zilla done. Still got some things to do but just had to go get the grease off her this morning and get some better shots.

Still to do list :

modify /paint hood
install hood emblem
install honeycomb grill
Install hemi air box
Extend air intake from TB to air box
Install front sway bar
Install front belly pan
Decide which wing to install

She is still sitting high in the front. Any idea why?

not as bad as before but i was wondering about that too. didn't want to say anything in case i missed a jack stand again or something………..

fiberglass hood is lighter and swaybar isn't bolted on, could that be why??

One of my neighbors just bought a black 05 RC out of Louisiana. After looking it over I noticed that it had 2 panels attached to the back side of the grill to close off the openings on each side of the radiator. Zilla doesn't have these. What are they called and are they still available? ? I assume that they would help with cooling during the summer.

The passenger side directs air into the stock intake box. Both slightly improve aerodynamics at speed, but do channel the air to the radiator; instead of letting air bypass and causing lift.

They keep The grill from acting like a parachute at high speeds.

O yea the truck looks great. The yellow calipers are nice touch.
