NOS Nitrous Info Advice and Questions Answered here..Thread!

I figured there is a lot of questions related to nos, so why not make a universal thread that all can enjoy and ask questions on the nos topic...:dontknow:

My friend who had his NX wet kit installed on his SRT-8 gave it to me to first find out what I will need to install, and if I like it. I plan on using nos sparingly like track and highway needs, but I know my lead foot and that it might be used more often..
Is nos safe if used sparingly and not spraying a lot?

This kit is rigged with a 100 shot nozzle but I plan on shooting 125..How long will it be safe to continuosly spray nos before potential damage could occur on the stock block?

I plan on getting a nos tune to use for track...If I decide use nos, while on my 93 tune, will it be safe for a few seconds of spray?

I spray my 150 shot on my 93 tune all the time. Just be sure you have the octane for it.

Shit. Now it's gettin' serious. I got you and viperlady spraying soon. I need to get the Paxton installed quick. I got a felling the next time we go to the track, you'll be spraying. We're gonna have fun!!:rock:

Is there any place someone could recommend me to to see what parts I need? Also how to install? I have no idea what most of the kit is....

the SRT8 version uses a small controller for the fuel bud, cant tell if your kit has that or not or even if it would work on the viper, I dont think it would,
but I would contact nitrous express to see if it would.

ding ding ding.....Stinkers right. Contact the vendor to make sure it will handle what you want. The shot should be fine on your truck but..............nothing is safe. Especially with nitrous!

Man it's all mumbo jumbo talk to me Don't even know where the controller is....Don't even know how to find out the kit part #....
I'll try to get a hold of NX to see what I come up with

I need to talk with someone who has knowledge of this and will tell me what i need and may be able to determine by close up pics....

I'm assuming this kit will work now it's just a matter of what I need??
