Wish I could be there.... ya OLD BASTARD! :( :( :( :( :( :dontknow: ;) :marchmellow:

Who the hell you calling "old" and "bastard"?:dontknow:

Oh, it was me. Never mind. ;) :D

That's okay son. There are a lot of people that I wish could be here so I could meet them face to face.

When I retire I'm going to buy a 40-45 foot diesel pusher motor coach and travel around the US. When I do that, you better believe there will be some people that I'm going to stop and visit.

Hell, who knows. Maybe at some point in the future I may actually get some time off of work so I can visit some. But then I already know my next assignment and it does not look to be a walk in the part either. Guess that is what I get for being at the top level within my job description.

Would that pusher be yellow? That would be one bigass banana going down the highway.

I never thought about that Don. I will have to look into a custom Banana Yellow paint job.:burnout:

I just talked to Eric, and I am excited about seeing every one. I want a break from the day to day. I think I am going to pull a Bill Murry like in the Movie What About Bob. I am going to give myself permission to take a vacation from my normal day to day. I am going to enjoy the new and old friends.

To my knowledge, this is the plan.

Friday (for those that are there that day)

Bremerton raceway for those that want to race, or just watch.
Pizza and beer after the race at a pizza place right by the hotel.

Saturday

Eric is planning a cruise of the area. Since the weather is supposed to be beautiful, it should be great for those that are visiting the area for the first time. And even for those of us that are from the area, it will be great.

That evening, we will have the formal gathering at Eric's place.

Sunday

Eric is making reservations for brunch at the local yacht club. From there we will go our own ways, hopefully with some great memories, and renewed and new friendships that will last us a lifetime.

My cell phone is 253-347-0650 if anyone needs to contact me.

Hopefully Eric will chime in here and fill in some of the details, or correct me if I have misstated anything.

Glad you are going to make it Randy.:)

Bill, I want you and Alex here :) And I am sure I am not alone on that one.

So far I am coming. Looking forward to meeting everyone. No worries on the tent - looked after. Coming Saturday morning. What is the estimated time for cruisin round town?

Sweet! Glad to hear it!

We're not going to be cruising around town. My plan was to make a run up to the Olympic Peninsula one of two ways. We can head out around the south end of Hood Canal, up 101, and then across the Hood Canal bridge and back to Silverdale. We can also start going north, cross the bridge and head up to Port Townsend or Port Angeles on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and then backtrack after stopping for a quick bite &/or beer.

Hopefully we'll have a QC or two for those arriving w/o trucks. Even if my truck is tuned well enough for the road trip, it only has one seat.;) However, if the truck's a no-go I can always break out the '68 Charger R/T. :D

Either of these road trips will be about 3-4 hours. It would be best to plan on leaving around 10am to allow me some set up and prep time before kicking things off in the early evening.

As far as the rest of the schedule is concerned, with the exception of heading to the drag strip (questionable right now), everything else is as John stated.

For those interested in contributions for Saturday night's event, we could always use some staples like various chips-n-dips and desserts. Costco has some great cheesecakes and apple and pecan pies, btw.

Just PM me if you're interested in picking anything up.

I plan on having enough burgers, brats (no, not Brat:D ), etc., plus pop and beer (including a couple of home brews! ).

JUST ONE MORE WEEK!

ALSO!

I'm making the reservations for Friday and Sunday, so a headcount for those planning on pizza and brunch respectively would be helpful.

Thank you!!

Elke and I will be there along with pickle dick! Question? Do we have somewhere to park the camper and can Mikey sleep with anyone who doesnt mind his smell? MUHHHahahahahahaahahahahaaa!!!!! Anyway were excited to meet everyone in person!!:D
