Sorry, been busy at work and have not gotten around to doing this, but the dates for the meet are July 24th through the 26th.

Tentative schedule.

July 24th - Meet at Bremerton Raceway for test and tune. Those that want to run their rigs can. After that it's off for Pizza and Beer.

July 25th - The formal gathering at Eric's place, where we will have the banner signing. I will let Eric fill in everyone on this.

July 26th - Meet for brunch somewhere and say our good by's.
 
First off, thank to Silver for coordinating things to date. The leadership here is much appreciated.

For anyone staying one or more nights in town, the Oxford Suites in Silverdale is practically walking distance from my home, and is next door to Spiro's where we'll be having beer & pizza/pasta on Friday evening.

Friday: Bremerton Raceway

If I remember correctly, gate is at 2:00, and first pass is at 3:00, and about $10-$15 bucks a head. You'll need your driver's license and a racing driver identification number. If you do not have, or don't remember your NHRA or local track driver number (to put on your windshield), you can get one on the spot at the track. You will also need a helmet and drive shaft safety loop if running faster than 14 seconds.

Amenities are a tad limited, so bring your own food, drink, and fuel. I have an inverter to power a compressor for airing up tires afterwards, and gauges for street and drag tires. I will be bringing basic tools and a floor jack for anyone with different tires to run.

We'll probably set up shop on the far side of the track next to the return lane, where there's lawn and shade (although I do have a canopy I can also bring).

Last pass is determined by how dark it is, as the track is not illuminated. We can figure on running probably as late as 8:00 or so, if we're so inclined.

Dinner will be at Sprio's in Silverdale, at 3201 Bucklin Hill Road (360-698-4800). http://www.spirospizza.com/


Saturday: My place!:rock:

8527 Knute Lane NW in Silverdale is my actual address, although I'll have everyone come up at 8485 Silverdale Way. This is a direct path to our back 40, where we'll be gathering. Just follow the driveway all the way to the top and toward the back of the lot.

This will be a family-friendly event, so all are welcome. If you have a need for a specific accommodation, please PM me in advance.


Sunday: Brunch

I'm thinking "The Yacht Club Broiler" (half way between my home and Oxford Suites on the waterfront) still has a nice spread on Sundays. I'll check in advance.

SeaTac to Silverdale is about an hour and a quarter without major traffic. Most of the drive is on hwys and Interstate. Take 5 South, then 16 to Bremerton, then 3 to Silverdale. Once you get on 5, there are no stop lights till you get to Silverdale. And there in only one between 3 and Erics place. A decent drive really.

Always remember, it's what's in the helmet that matters the most. Make good decisions and the helmet won't be needed.

true dat........ :)

just don't see the need to spend ridiculous sums of money on expensive helmets when it's not needed & only used a couple times a year. ;)
 
Checked in with the Yacht Club Broiler last night, and they have brunch Saturday and Sunday mornings from 11:00 to 3:00. Looks like our schedule is pretty well set!:D

Most of the time, the name is Mark, but I've been called lots of other things, just never late for a SRT10 meet!! (never been):beer: Lookin forward to a great time.
 
Just got a commitment from a friend of my neighbor with a Night Runner for Friday and Saturday. Guy's name is Antony.

He's been here a couple of times, but hasn't joined up. I gave him another reminder yesterday to get on board.;)
 
Oh man..i just saw this new thread....I will try to make it...not 100% sure...Im taking a few weekends off this coming months ....so will see :slug:
