PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS...MR. JOHN T. HARGRAVES "SUPERCAR 1 OF 1'

horrible, news. I am honored to have called John my friend, he will be missed. How about a donation to a military or LEO focused charity? Those seemed to be his chosen causes....or the RNC.

I'm so sad to hear this.

I liked John and his love of Obama ;) he probably never even knew how much he really added to our forum family.
RIP John, you will be missed. May God be with you ........

John and I agreed a lot on political issues, but Alex is 180 degrees different. At first she didn't care for John because of his views, but after a little while she grew very fond of him. John's passing has hit her pretty hard.

I hate politics anyway - but I will miss John very much. It really touched my heart when he pulled it together for Mikey at his gathering that night. What a guy!

This ole boy is gunna be missed, True blue gent, funny as hell, we love you sir, may the pearly gates find you well, prayers sent to his family members.

If can be personal here......I'm not dealing with this too well guys. So I will apologize in advance if I come unglued a little. Thank you all for taking the time to add a few words....In all our forums and in almost 6 years this is the first death in our family....Agree or disagree in times of need or great loss of any kind we all pull together....This is what this forum is all about just in case any of you that don't post much or think this is just some truck site....You would be wrong. We are unique to say the least....We are the VTCOA and we have a ton of awesome and great people here......Many life long friendships have been made......So now you might get it....It's the people. God bless you all and I wanna thank Jake for making me cry again....I couldnt for the life on me find that thread last night.....Thank you Jake....

John will never be forgotten........ever !!! Because I wont let him be :D
RIP and Semper Fi my Brother

Wow don't know how I missed this thread until now.

I am shocked, knew he was in a rough spot but thought he was doing better. Like many others I met John at the Macon GTG, a great guy with a fantastic sense of humor.

RIP John.

Billy is correct, when I first would read some of the things John would write - it would inferiate me. Many times I would have to walk away from the computer before saying something I would regret. Then I found out that even though we did not agree on certain things, he was still an outstanding gentleman. I had found out that he actually pm'd someone asking them to "take it easy" on Billy & I. Even the pm was not neccessary - it made me stop and realize that John had a heart of gold even if we didn't always see eye to eye on things. The VTCOA is my family and I watched John go above and beyond for the members of this family. He became part of my family in my heart and this really hurts and saddens me. I told Billy when I finally met John in person, the first thing I wanted to do was wrap my arms around him and give him a great big hug! I regret I never got that chance. There are many great men (and women) on this site, but John was one of the exceptional! I will miss him greatly and I hope his pain and suffering has now been taken all away.

Love you and may you now rest in peace!

Jennifer,

What is going to become of his estate/belongings? It sounds like he didn't have much family. :dontknow: Is his ex-wife Executor of the estate? Are they going to have a auction?

His lawyer is the executor of his estate...as soon as we learn more I will let everyone know...Jennifer
