Not when ya race people with brains in their heads. I wont line up next to morons. See too many go in the wall b/c they don't know how to let out of it when they start losing it.
I got pretty beat up, in the hospital for a few days but nothing too serious. Somebody was really lookin out for me that night.
I still frequent there. You'd be surprised how many left and traded in. Most are still sticking with there first gen.
Haha, maybe. Theres still little pieces of asphalt buried in my back and side. I consider those as reminders to not be such an idiot on public roads. I most def learned my lesson.
Got some of those in my arm and knee still from a 2-wheeled vehicle accident several years ago.....My stupidity tat is what I call it.
I enjoyed the chats with the SRT engineers. I also like the 6.1 line up better than the current line up. And consider me on the record as someone who would buy a 5.0 over a new SRT8 or GM.
Can't always pick and choose who you race against. And shit happens. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N82XfCwoL8]Lucky GTR - TX2K12 - YouTube[/ame]
Yeah, they are pretty good. Sucks they are censored on certain things. And pretty much yeah, same here. I was looking at a Mustang before I got the SRT10.
VenomTruck, I have a RC but I went ahead and installed two electronic QTP cutouts this past week like you had mentioned. The idling and WOT sound is great, but when I get on the truck I definitely feel a loss in power when the cutouts are open. Maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me. :dontknow: My point is, close it and get on the truck again. Second thing is remember you're in a pickup truck. You'll always feel slow in that sense, even if you are going fast. It will still always be a big heavy ass pickup truck.
Lemme put our 6 speed conversion in your QC as SRT should've done and fall in love all over again
PhxPoolGuy just did that with his QC & raves about the 6 speed. Said he will never go back to the auto.
Ive made plenty of red light runs with mine closed and open trying to feel a difference, I didnt. Mine is most likely set up WAY different than yours. I only have ONE cutout with both pipes dumping into it, I also have a custom pipe on the cutout itself. I posted pics of it. With two of them, and depending on where you placed them, you are surely losing quite a bit of back pressure. Have your shop weld on some pipes to your cutouts with one or two bends in them, and point them straight down onto the street. This will bounce all that sound off of the pavement and make it stupid loud. Thats what I did anyway, I love it.
Shoot me a price for everything installed, out the door, and we'll talk! I leave no options off the table. Just a matter of $$$
Auto to t56 does bring a smile to ones face over and over. But like said, it does suck being a heavy truck. But it's still way more fun rowing down the track instead of a boring auto.
