I've had the unfortunate experience of having to sponge, squeegee, or otherwise remove many people (mostly kids) from my local highways that have decided to have blatant disregard for the safety of everyone around them. I am not saying i never speed in my 10, if i didn't i would not keep it around. When the urge really hits me, i take it to the track, where i've maxed out the truck several times. (Pocono track days are awesome by the way)That way, if something goes bad, i'm the only one that pays the price, not the car full of innocent people that happen to be minding their own business as your top speed run comes to a very abrupt end.
no one asked you copper!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D

It's about hot rodding, takin the guts outta imports, barkin the hides, and high speed runs.however, being discreet is key. and safety is paramount. on a lonesome desert highway east of omaha..........................:D

silly question, but why is the cruise light on?

you should know unless you turn it off it stays on until you turn off the truck.

thanks for the "D" other kids and kids at heart. i will post photos of what i was up to at work later.

please tell me how to drive again, use small words as i am new to driving.

I'm not judging here either side of the story but back in 04 there were several threads about how fast have you gone in your ten................and I dont remember all the bashing.

i remember a story of a B&W GTS doing 165...i think it was early in the morning down in mexico, another member was about 1/2 a mile out in front...the drivers said there was a lot left but the brakes were terrible. anyway thats what i heard.

FYI, yesterday a couple of kids almost hit my wife when they were street racing right thru my neighborhood...I think we need to use discretion.

how in the hell you took a photo while doing that is amazin! or insane! Had my rig up to 156 once and never again! That thing was all over the place, and unstable like a house without nails (bumpy road). Yes, I admit it was on a public road and stupid of me but that was a learning experience I valued. Don't even know why I did it in the first place either :dontknow:

As per an older post, yes I did this, but in the stock form of my truck, never did it when i was paxton-ed. By then I had learned the meaning of respect not only for the truck but myself and others around.

But it does seem the younger you are the bigger the chances you'll take until you either learn from it, or well ;).

I'm 26 and I've been 145 in mine, however, I don't brag about it like a 16 yr old and I think that's the whole point. I'm not impressed with how fast you go in your truck and never will be. Take it to the track, or in your case the salt flats, and try and beat a record time. In the next few weeks I'll be taking mine to TMS and I'll let you know how fast I get it up to, legally.

Don't worry about it scoobert... some people on here think they're better than everybody else, and like to talk down to others.

I have never had my truck anywhere near that fast on public roads, and I don't think it's smart for anybody to. However, I won't disrepect you for choosing to do it. It's your life man... keep it safe
