Retractable License plate

For the people out there that need a front license plate like i do, does anyone have the retratable ones mounted on there front? I'm thinking of doing this possibly. Thanks

batram has sometype of crazy rear plate but havent heard of anyone doing anything special with the front besides thowing it away lol. I live in SoCal where they pull us over alot of not having a plate and 2/3 of my cars dont have plates still lol

I would leave it under the truck on tell I got pulled over. Then when the cop walked up to the window and told me why he was pulling me over. I would say sir I do have a tag there...why no you don't....yes I do go look........told you. LOL

When there down in the hide position is there any parts that are noticable?

just the end of the hinge...less than 3/4 of an inch, you could probably do it less, but I wanted it in no way rubbing the fascia!

I just have Tony's 2" rear drop and I have yet to have a problem.

You can mount the front plate further back so it's flush, just involves a little trimming of the part that tucks under. Simply close it on the table or work bench and you'll notice which part "catches" and needs trimming, easy to do though, that's what I did as I didn't like it sticking out.

I have that plate for the front (seen in the Batram Dark Knight video posted sometime last year lol, video below, it's shown at 1:00 minute in) and I have a Stealth license plate rear blocker (video also below). I've got to have the best of the best gadgets in The Batram! lol.

I've had the front one on for around a year and the rear on for a few months now, great fun! I've been pulled over twice by police about the front. Easy to get out of a ticket though "sorry mate, had a photo shoot yesterday and forgot it was away", one look at the truck, they believe you, say bring it up, look stunned, smile and off you go."

Ps: I forgot to say that there is another option for the rear lads, it's a 90 degree "flap" style one that instantly slams down to the rear bumper/valance part. It's connected to a cable that winds in (fast) to bring it up and releases fast (to drop it). I looked at it, but preferred the one I have AND my rear view camera is IN the plate so folding down with wires and it mounted wouldn't have worked lol. Just another option anyhow.
