I believe the 427 refers to either the horsepower or torque rating of the engine rather than cubic inches. If he is on street tires then it will be fun.
Do the math..... How many pounds per hp.....?

427 cubic inches and 427 horsepower.
3600 pounds WITH driver. Low/Mid 13s (108 'ish) at sea level, according to tests and
from what I've seen.

looked at the link..its some what confusing. write up says 435 h.p.,plaque in engine comp. says 427 h.p. ( or is that for an "R")

Went to the Roush site, it is a 4.6 litre (281 cubic inch) 435HP supercharged engine....Hell I just beat a 500 Hp Shelby (Supercharged) because he was on street tires and I even missed third gear! See the "Killed a Shelby..Barely " posting in the racing section. I had Drag Radials and would have beat him by 5 lengths or more had I not missed third. This was at a Drag Strip not a street race. I have a 2004 RC with Headers, Magnaflow, 4.56 gears and a DC Tune.

Where is SRTBRAD on this??? He took a 427R twice on the strip at Sacramento Raceway back in October, I believe. It was close, but he took him. This was in his red QC.
