STS Turbo Systems SCT Tuner

i thought it was a combination of wheel turns or something like that, my buddy cranks his wheels one way and the awd cuts out and he can light up them tires in a heart beat

You pull the ABS and Ediff fuses or use the starscan to dyno mode it.

That is my other Jeep overseas, it made 631 at 6300, I hit 631 at 5200rpm on the new one this week. We ran at Speedworld last night on 10 psi to get an idea of how it performs and ran 12.17@119 with a 1.9 slow 60 footer.
Can't imagine what it will trap with 19 psi!

If you put in your 5psi spring on both and reference the lower port of the WG, You will see 5psi, add the top port to the same line and you'll have 10. If you had one wastegate, overboost would be an issue with that combo size.

Every single person that has come in for overboost issues, had either the signals or the springs wrong. It tells you right in the kits exactly how to set them up for 5 psi. If you are nervous, run the 3 lbs springs and then double to top of the WG for 6 psi.

I'm a little confused on how you are doubling up on the boost. The following attachment is from the STS manual. Is this how you are connecting your wastegates?

See the "vent to atmos"? ports, if you have a 5 psi spring installed, 5 psi will open the lower ports, if you plumb boost to the top/vent ports, it will take an additional 5 psi to open the gate.

So as pictured in the above attachment then it would take 10 psi to open the waste gates? I'm still a little confused as to your wording. I'm not a mechanic nor a tuner. But I did stay at a Holiday inn express last night. Anyways on your systems that are running 5 psi are you even connecting the hoses to the wastegates?

Consider me an off the clock guy helping you guys out till vendor status with Jack is activated.

How can does a SCT control the fuel during boost? Well what I'm asking is how does it sense the boost to know to add extra fuel? I'm not looking for a real tech answer, just a quick explanation. The VEC ties into the brake booster hose so it can sense the vacuum and boost. I was wondering how the SCT does it?
