Beautiful build. Nice piston tops, however, those relief pockets will glow orange at full song. Especially at the points.

What's the CR on this build?!? Will it run on pump or need race fuel to remain stable.

I am also interested how the intake air will be fed to the dual TB's in a truck chassis.

Cheers!!

11.5:1, will run on 91 and have a race gas tune also. We will still need to custom make air inlet tubes with filters.

Start up and break in is scheduled for next Friday and Saturday (Mar 20-21). There was a problem with the headers. Since there hasn't been another Gen IV headed SRT-10 Ram with American Racing headers (my set was the first).....the headers actually did not fit . Kevin will have to add 1" to each of the pipes as they are hitting on the block and bell housing. Excitement is high for the engine. Kevin feels that my cam may be the limiting factor on max power, saying it might be a touch mild for the heads and 561 cubic inch bottom end. Cam specs are 248-256 .720 lift on a 112, solid roller. Possible 45 minute break in session to seat the rings, then recheck the valve lash, this may be on Friday. Chris Jensen is scheduled to be there for the tune on Saturday. If I get any further updates I will post along with any pictures. Rumors and horsepower estimates are in the 850-900 range at the flywheel.

Update: Kevin called, they will be starting the engine for break-in tomorrow, Thursday 3-19-2015. I will be there on Friday, Chris Jensen will be there on Saturday for the tune.
