Tremec / Centerforce problems..

Well, installed the master cylinder and took it for a drive.. Pedal feel was
more even but still disengaging low. Figured that the slave might have
air in it so i took it back to the dealership to have it flushed. After the flush
it still disengages low.

Just really god damn annoying at this point. Tommorow morning i plan
on having the tech take it apart so me and him can straitedge and measure
the clutch and flywheel. At this point i think it could be the clutch.
On a side note, i have a stock steel flywheel that i want to get resurfaced
and use. Why would using a resurfaced flywheel be a bad idea as apposed
to buying an entirely new flywheel? I realize that the thickness will drop
but what kind of problems would this introduce?

EDIT: Also, besides what Roe sells on his site are there any other clutches worth
trying? I don't think i need or want to install another centerforce. My long term plans
are to go NA.

After dropping the transmission Dwayne (The Viper Tech) came and got
me and showed me the damage.

From the pictures above you can deduct that yes, there is broken bolt
in the flywheel, and yes the head flew around inside the bellhousing scraping
everything to hell and eventually cracking the bellhousing on it's exit
through the inspection plate. The flywheel is chipped up on it's outer
circumference and apparently the other bolts were barely screwed in.
The bolts that didn't break had bottlenecked. Unfortunately the dealership
that put this is in is now out of business. But just to put it out there

DON'T GO TO LEESBURG DODGE!

I've already ordered a new Centerforce clutch and slave cylinder (Thanks Mike at Roe)
and I ordered a stock flywheel from John, aka Dragon 2.0, and it couldn't
have been a smoother experience.

I think everything will be here by Wed. so I should be back on the road
thursday for my 500 mile break-in.

See all speculation until you get it apart. That blows dude. But at least it is getting fixed and he let you in there. Shit hand tight they would still be in there. Glad to hear good news. Transfer to a school in Illinois and I will only charge you half of what your paying next time:marchmellow: :D

Its hard to not get perfect satisfaction when dealing with two great vendors like Roe Racing and Avondale.

What a shame.
