Personally I'm blessed and can afford, and I wear a Rolex every day. My son who works with me wears an Omega ( Apparently a better movement, hence NASA with their Moonshots gig. I think time management is a huge deal in what I do. Although some would think this is materialistic,:dontknow: Its sorta like our trucks dont you think:dontknow:

I'm a bit of a watch junkie..... But I only wear one outside the house.

I have quite a few including my dear Dad's pink gold, wafer-thin Gruen pocket watch from 1943...... I had it completely gone thru and it runs perfect..... It's in a little keepsake presentation case made of rosewood and beveled glass that looks like a grandfather clock... I have a few other pocket watches, too.... just for fun....

I have some nice watches, too..... I like watches.. haven't bought any for awhile.

Wow... this thread is right up my alley.... :D

I've had lots of watches..... I currently have about 12-15, because I had to sell a few of my top-line ones to survive about 2 years ago. .... Just never got around to buying any more. :(

I will never get rid of my TAG Carrera tho. I've been wearing it every day for the last year or so (after I sold my Rolex Sub).

Sarah used to complain about the watch-winders kicking on in the middle of the night, but she's used to them now. ;)

Just a running watch. I am one of the weird people that wears a watch on their dominant hand so it gets in the way alot.

I only wear a watch when I go some place nice, like wal-mart. :D :D

I cant wear a watch at work because I dont want to lose my arm.:)

I have two Rolex watches and a few cheaper ones. I wear a watch when I feel like it and when I am dressed up. Almost always wear one to work because I am dressed up for work if I leave the house. I work from home a lot.

Yo Jakie,

I had a 4 watch winder that I bought from Swiss Watch International. (their shit is garbage) It died on me awhile back..... Are all multi-watch winders shit or is there a multi-watch unit out there that's worth a fk...?

D

i must say now though, i will most likely never again buy an expensive watch. dont really care for it as much. i used to live expensive watches but have since changed.

I've heard of some bad SWI winders.... Never had one tho.

Watch winders can get REAL expensive. But, generally, you will want one with "fuzzy logic" technology (automatically sets up each rotor on a schedule according to type and make). I have a Steinhausen that has worked well, and was cheap (the cabinet isn't the greatest, but it runs :dontknow:  ).

Here are two forums I used to frequent (haven't been on any watch forums lately.... )

http://timetechtalk.com/ (Lots of knowlegable folks on there.... )

This is my good friend Jim Skelton's web site... http://www.watchgeeks.net He is also the host of ShopNBC's watch shows. He might have some good reviews too. :)

Yeah... SWI is part of the "Posse".... it's the group of companies all owned by the same people (SWI, Croton, etc.).... They are all owned by the same family from Israel. Some of their stuff is decent.... some is crap.

I cannot live withouta watch and unfortunately I have the "redneck" tan to prove it.

I got a weird way of wearing mine though. I am right handed but wear my watch on my right hand! Always have. Weird?

Damn it !!! Love watches I have a new Invicta....Like em  I also like Seiko and all of Shawn's eco drives

Hmmm watches?? Oh yeah I love em!! Rolex and Breitlings are my current favorites. Would love to get many more but am kinda cheap!! LOL

Recently got a heart rate monitor watch and seem to wear that one the most right now. I guess my watch snob days have finally wore off! LOL

But would love one of these..........just am not willing to part with $40k!! LOL

How are you John?

Doing pretty well, Thanks. I had to run out and teach a basic marksmanship class today. People around here are not only stocking up on weapons, but
actually getting trained in how to use them, which is good.

How are things out your way?
