How 'bout a Delorean??? Gull wing doors. Already Silver. Convert it to front engine - RWD. With the Viper engine, you won't need a flux capacitor.

Reality is that in a year or so I will be tired of the truck....
Reality is also that I will have a $50k motor and tranny in a $30k truck......
I am going to pull the drivetrain and put it into something cool....

Steve I would fully agree with you ,,,,,,,,,,well except for the fact most aftermarker body parts suck and 99% are made in China and not all there fault as specs were taken from OEM stampings or dies and some of theose were in bad shape having thousands of stamping off them so sharp lines get less sharp reval line tend to get moved or it just doesnt hit any of the bolt holes . You think SRT stuff is expensive try to find OEM fenders for a 71 Challenger . Thats why we spend the time to restore the OEM body panels ,it makes the car . Also price is not that much differant a lot of times as the repro part take so much more work to look right ,so you pay labor or pay part.Texas Yellow Fever said:The other good thing about those cars is that there are tons of aftermarket stuff available for them should you need it. If, God forbid, you need a fender or whatever one day, it's a phone call away. They also make new technology suspension parts for them. If you go with a truly one off (IE Ramble Nash or something weird), you're more likely have to hand make every part to get it all right, then if you wreck it or whatever, you're screwed.
Food for thought.

We are rodding a 59 Rolls and I thought to save the guy some money I would find some used front fenders as there is a lot of rust well when I found they are running 7k$ a set I figure if we have to remake them he is still saving .
